Granada in Spain is the sort of town that would have given HP Lovecraft the howling willies — an ancient, brooding place of cramped allies and winding streets and high, crooked roofs, perched up in the mountains (and, frankly, filled with non-WASPs; he was a collossal racist, after all).
As if to bear out his worst fears, I found this frankly disturbing piece of graffiti in a cramped, dingy courtyard overlooked by crumbling tenements — and a quaintly elegant old place tenanted by a couple of the most frightening maniacs you’ll find this side of Palo Alto.

Is it any coincidence that Spain is also the country that was chosen for Brian Yuzna’s most recent Lovecraftian offering, Dagon? I think not.
